Answer
|
|
Why use TexBox?
|
TexBox reduces
the number of textphones and telephone lines needed within a company
or organization by routing incoming text calls directly to Operators
PC's allowing the Operator to communicate live text directly with a
textphone caller and gives the ability to transfer calls to another
Operator or Department on the same computer network.
|
|
How many
Operators can be logged in to TexBox at one time?
|
At this time,
the TexBox system can support up to 500 Operators logged in at one
time. The number of Operators simultaneously having a live text
conversation depends on the number of telephone lines installed.
|
|
When a textphone
caller is transferred to another Operator, how does the next Operator
know what the previous conversation was about?
|
When a textphone
caller is transferred, all previous conversations in the particular
call are also transferred with the time and date and from which
Operator.
|
|
Are there any
benefits of this system to the textphone caller?
|
Yes, the caller
can choose from a list of options displayed on their textphone in
order to be routed to a relevant department without the need to hang
up and dial a different number for a different department. As well as
this, the call is more likely to be answered as there would be more
operators available.
