TexBox will answer all incoming textphone calls giving an options menu for the caller to choose which department they require. TexBox will then route the text call directly to the appropriate Agent's Computer screen via LAN. TexBox Communicator

The TexBox Communicator applet is downloaded from TexBox to Agents PC workstations. This is done by typing the IP address of TexBox in a Internet Browser.

Once downloaded, Agents log-in and are ready to accept textphone calls.

External Calls

When an external call is answered by TexBox and forwarded to an agent, the agent is notified by a pop up message.

Once the call is answered by the agent, the text for incoming and outgoing conversation is defined by colour.

Calls can be transferred to other agents by selecting the agent from a drop-down menu and pressing the Transfer call button.

The agent which the call is being transferred to is notified by a transfer call pop up message.

Once the agent accepts the transfered call, the agent can view the previous conversation. This enables the agent to continue the conversation with the caller without having to discuss any details with the previous agent.

Internal Calls

Internal calls between agents are made without the use of telephone lines.

When an internal call is made, the agent is notified by a pop up message.

Once the call is answered by the agent, the text for incoming and outgoing conversation is defined by colour.
